The MERKUR 701001 is a timeless work of art for wet shaving, manufactured in Germany since 1986. Copied many times, but in the original a MERKUR. After you have clamped a razor blade with the Duo Clip in the lid, all you need to do is turn the handle to adjust the blade gap individually to your needs. That's all you need for your perfect shave.
With a turn of the handle, you can adjust the blade gap from coarse for long hair to gentle for daily shaving. All according to your personal shaving experience. Generous foam grooves allow soap and hair to drain away for a hygienic shave.
MATERIAL
The MERKUR FUTUR is manufactured using the zinc die-casting process. In this process, a zinc alloy is pressed into a mould under high pressure. We have chosen this method because it allows for minimal manufacturing tolerances and detailed surfaces. The galvanic coating protects the razor blade from corrosion and gives it its unique appearance.

BLADE DESCRIPTION
The ability to rotate the handle adjusts the distance of the blade to the comb and adjusts the closeness of the shave to your personal preference. Thanks to the numbering, you can easily find your preferred position. For example, you have the option of shaving long hair with a large blade gap, while daily facial shaving can be accomplished with a gentle blade setting.
