Professional quality straightening irons and hair straighteners

The new generation of hair straighteners proves to be a gentle styling aid with which curly hair can be quickly tamed and straightened. The gentle application makes it possible to straighten hair daily if necessary. For daily use, choose a straightening iron with many temperature settings to optimally respond to your hair's needs.

Ceramic straightening iron

The most important component of hair straighteners are the heating plates, as these come into contact with the hair. Therefore the material of the heating plates is one of the most important factors for a good straightening iron. Ceramic straightening irons are recommended because ceramic has excellent thermal conductivity and is extremely smooth and therefore slidable. Most of our smoothing irons naturally have ceramic plates, such as the Cloud Nine Original standard smoothing iron, the inexpensive Cuttek Advanced from Wahl or the stylissima+ from ermila.

If you want to increase the quality even further, you will find a smoothing iron with a ceramic tourmaline coating. The Tumalin additive in the straightening iron coating ensures that the styler has an antistatic effect and prevents hair charging, e.g. with the CeraStyle Mini straightener.

Wide straightening iron

Hair straighteners with a plate width of over 2.5 cm are usually referred to as wide hair straighteners. These are especially suitable for thicker and/or longer hair. A wide straightener with a plate width of 4,5cm is for example the WIDE IRON from Cloud Nine.

Straightening iron for short hair

To straighten short hair you need a hair straightener with a narrower plate width. This should be less than 2.5cm. Cloud Nine has developed the MICRO IRON for short hair, also for men. Mini straightening irons are well suited for the handbag or for travel.
